IELTS rewards strategy as much as English, and I teach you both. I have prepared students for it for years, in Academic and General Training, and the lesson is always the same: the band descriptors are really a formula, and the moment I show you how examiners actually mark, your score stops feeling like luck. From 2026 IELTS is delivered on computer in most of the world, with the One Skill Retake option, so if one skill lets you down you can resit just that one within 60 days and keep the other three. We work to your target band and your deadline, and most of my students reach the band they came for.
Lessons run on a fixed weekly slot or get booked flexibly around your week, one to one or in a small group, always online. Pick the length that fits the session.
Your IELTS mocks run as full, timed papers, computer-style, with Writing marked against the official four criteria and Speaking recorded so we can listen back together. The Kahoots drill band-7-and-up vocabulary and the grammar examiners reward; the Quizlets cover linking words, collocations and topic vocabulary, sorted by band; and the PDFs are model band-8 and band-9 answers, annotated so you can see exactly why they score. Everything is organised by skill, so we pour the time into whichever band is holding you back.
After every session I write down where you are, your band or score per skill and the one thing to fix next, so you are never guessing about your progress. Between lessons you can message me on WhatsApp, a quick question, a sentence you are stuck on, your homework, so nothing has to wait a whole week.
